Crunchy Lab is a new fried chicken concept created by a group of longtime restaurateurs with years of experience serving the Rochester community. We chose Northeast Rochester intentionally. Rather than focusing on downtown or high-traffic commercial areas, we wanted to build something rooted in a neighborhood where families live, work, and gather.
Our goal is simple: create a convenient, affordable fried chicken spot for the immediate community, with great food, fair prices, and a welcoming atmosphere. We want Crunchy Lab to become more than another place to grab food—we want it to become a true neighborhood business built around the people we serve.

Instead of building our menu entirely around individual meals, we’re creating options that make sense when you’re feeding two, four, six—or the whole family.
That means generous portions, straightforward pricing and meals designed for sharing.
Crunchy Lab was designed to become a place where the neighborhood can eat, meet and celebrate.
Our location also includes The Lab Private Event Space, giving local families and organizations a place for birthdays, celebrations, meetings and private gatherings.
We want the building to serve the community in more ways than one.
